Just changed my AFM...
...and it seems to have solved my erratic idling problem. I decided to give it a new air filter also.
I took it for a drive and noticed a little more throttle response especially in 2nd & 3rd gear and around the 4,000revs. Am I imagining this or is that typical?
2 of the bolt heads holding the filter box cover had sheared so I used very thin wood screws to secure it down at the points where the bolts came off. I'd like to eventually get the threaded bits out, but there is no way you'd get a drill in there without taking the box out and that looks a right pain.
Anyway, I'm happy again. Can't wait to take it out for a long drive now.
Had contemplated the stat swap aswell while I had the AFM out, but the black clouds came in and I had about 10seconds to spare before I got pi$$ed on. There is always next weekend.
