Our daughter is rapidly getting to the size that we will need to fit a group 1, forward facing seat for her (she's 8 months old now)
I have tried most of the 'market leaders' at Mothercare etc, but haven't found a single one that will fit correctly. They all seem to suffer from 'buckle crunch' due to the long length of the rear seatbelt anchors in the car.
I found one that fit with a bit of 'persuation' but it would wreck the leather seats over time, so that's out.
It looks like I'll have to get an iso-fix fitting one to overcome the problem, but was wondering what seats other people used (surely some of you have wee ones
We have a Golf (also with isofix) that her mother drives, and will be in that car most of the time, so the seat needs to fit in there too, and also an old mini (obviously without isofix)
We will get two seats eventually due to our differing taste! (Trust me, I'm not putting a candy pink seat in the back of my Alfa
Britax have a website with all cars listed except Alfas, and other manufacturers haven't been any help at all. Alfa UK lists one by a German company called Kiddy, but they are truly hideous (and twice the price of any others)
Any guidance greatfully appreciated
(And those of you without small alfa-lovers-to-be can wake up now
