Remove the top engine cover, at the back of the engine bolted to the rear of the inlet manifold, just left of centre is a black box about the size of a box of matches...that's the MAP sensor.
It's held in with a single bolt, the head on my bolt takes and allen key but it does seem to vary. Undo the electrical connector and the bolt and remove the sensor.
You should see a plastic cage in which the sensor sits, it's a delicate component about the size of a grain of rice. You may not be able to see the sensor as the cage will be choked with soot. Gently clean the cage with a soft toothbrush and an alcohol based cleaner.
