JTD with induction kit. worth it?

Ive got a spare pieprcross induction kit knocking about in the garage, but is it worth fitting it to my GT JTD?

It sounded great on my previous 2.2 petrol Astra, but will it be the same with a diesel?

I tried fitting it previously to a 1.7 diesel Meriva, and there was no difference in gruntiness

It will sound a little better but the Diesel engines thrive on cold air so it depends where it us mounted. I have a K and N filter in mine. I just hear the dump valve (I guess it's that) a bit more. Sounds like I have a pigeon under the bonnet.
