Help 147 Power Steering

Anyone got any experience of noisey power steering on the 147?
I have checked the fluid levels, and if anything it was a bit high.
Tyre pressures are ok, suspension ok.
Noise is noticable at standstill, and reduces slightly if the wheel is turned. It's not a grating or screeching noise, it just sounds loud.

yeah my 147 seems to make a loud noise when reversing. i recon it is coming from the power steering pump. it hasnt caused me much trouble as yet but it is a slight concern.

Yea, I thing it has something to do with the pump..I have the same thing on my alfa. Specially when Im reversing and turning..some times its really loud but didnt make any harm so far, but Im a bit concerned, that something might blow one day.. I checked the fluid, its on normal level...
So did anyone find out what it could be? Is it a thing to be concerned about?
