Not Happy 156 selespeed advice required

I'm hoping someone can help!

I've recently renewed the all the sensors on my selespeed gearbox as this was continually activating the ECU engine light- since that problem had gone, another one had appeared- which is where I require your expertise.

Every time I drive in either city or manual mode the gears decide to change automatically in either direction, for instance if Iím in 4th and cruising at 40/50 they will automatically go into reverse whilst going forward or either go down into 1st or 2nd, it gets worse. When stationary at lights in freezes and doesnít go into gear regardless of the mode itís in.

This is causing me loads of grief and would appreciate if anyone has any experience of this or can offer any advice?

The guys at ALFAAID in maidenhead seem to be lost with this as it typically hasn't happened when they have tried it.

Any suggestions?

Yes the gears do flash, Did you also have this probem in city mode?
also, after you replaced the Selector did this fix the problem and was it costly? and did you find out exactly what the actual problem was.
