people have mentioned it before, but let me tell other issues about your intake setup.
appart from the engine being fed with too hot air because intake end being to close to the engine,
- MAF being to close to the air filter causes too much turbulence inside the MAF, and it to not meter the air quantity properly;
- added to that, the air filter gets fed with hot air coming from the engine and cold air next to the battery, causing the air temperature to be nonuniform. this causes the MAF not to meter the temperature and air quantity properly again.
that said, you should really revise your intake system, going back to the original, or, at least, moving the air filter far away from the MAF and the engine.
just to minimise intake turbulence, you could fit the air filter inside a plastic box.
