156 and setting steering to Zero
Nice set of Dunlop Sport 01 on all 4 wheels now (205/60 15) and a further chance to check steering which was closer to -1mm than zero. They cracked the track rods a shade and got it back to dead on Zero. An interesting side product is that braking noise has almost disappeared. I thought the slight scruffing noise under braking was the pads against the discs. Turns out that it is in fact the tyres scrubbing. May be this is the reason they wear on the inside edge. Perhaps just all the rubbers moving to give large toe out under braking.
I also feel that the car is much more planted on normal undulating, bendy roads. Conversley, it feels a little more flighty on motorways; just not so directionally stable.
