Diagnostics help and issues.

Having recently bought a 1.6 TS 156, I have a few niggles that I could use some advice on. I have performed an ecu reset and a throttle position reset at different times, however within a short time the hunting idle and judder around 2k revs returns.

Last week the engine light came on too, so I have bought a diag cable and using multiecuscan have checked the errors, the only current faults was relating to O2 sensor, there was a previous 92 fault code too.

On checking the parameters, the lambda 1 and 2 after cat sensors are showing as open loop, which indicates a fault. So I'm now looking for some advice - is this just down to connections that need cleaning or does the sensor need replacing (2 sensors?). For now I have cleared the codes and will monitor regularly to see what crops up.

open loop means engine is running on ecu default settings which is normal at idle and a couple of other conditions.
