if your doing 30 k a year, i would look at LPG.
i swapped from a 166 ts to the 1.9 16v Mjet 156 because i thought it would save me money. I go to the fuel station half as much with the diesel, but the repair costs are huge, so unless you are going to fix the driveshafts, clutch, dmf, injectors yourself, then paying someone else to do it on cars like this is expensive. Ive spent in excess of 3 k fixing mine in the last 2.5 years over 65k miles.
there fast and look very pretty which is the real reason to own them
i think the 159 is a much stronger car, but LPG has got to be worth a look
