It sounds like you have got the same problem as me all over!!
I think the sqweek is the master cylinder as this is sqweeking badly on mine, albeit ever since my local dealer decided to rip the hole clutch and its dependencies out when it was unnecessary.
This is only an annoyance though. As Paul says, try out the bite on the clutch. Clutches are either working or not working generally (slipping or not slipping).
I am having a new clutch fitted to mine in 3 weeks as its slipping in 4th 5th and 6th - noticable on mine as there is so much torque!
The same goes for my suspension too though - rear bushes are going on. I have found personally that the independants and Main dealers are reluctant to fit the powerflex bushes as they are a bugger to fit on the arms, whereas the standard Alfa ones come with the arms and are much quicker and easier to fit.
I am just going to get the stock ones fitted again and hope they might last a little longer.
