O.K...So it's been a while since I've updated this on where I was up to, between finding time to move house and work, I had to do what I could when I had time.
So, I now have a fully working remote central locking and alarm.
I will write up what I did completely later, and I'm sure to some it is straight forward, and easy.
But as a person who is confident at doing most car work, and couldn't find conclusive 'how-to' advice, I think it could be helpful.
So, in short, I bought a 2nd hand ECU, Body computer, lock set (including 2 x fob keys), ect of a 147 that was being broken.
I swapped over the ECU and Body computer, had 2 new blades cut for the keys, so I didn't need to change the locks over and done.
The only thing I hadn't forseen, was the flashing odometer and after a proxi alignment. sorted.
