Re: Your Alfa Project(s)

Gausie, its coming along nicely.
I have a few projcets to tackle, but no time.

1. Re-wire sud to use newly acquired dashboard.
2. Replace Sud headlights with units that have more than one candle-power
3. Replace cracked Junior taillights
4. Replace dented Junior back bumper - Bloody idiot drivers that do not stop completely at stop-signs
5. Re-upholster Junior interior
6 Drive my Spider
7 Drive the Spider some more
8 Wash the 147 properly.
9 Repair the damage I caused on the Mini when it rolled back into the gate
10 Drive the spider again
11 Take photos of my cleaned up cars
12 Drive all my cars at least once a week
13 Maybe, if I have some time, drive the Spider again

Re: Your Alfa Project(s)

This is for the 156 ... too lazy to write one for the sprint

-> Replace drivers door trim sticker (the black sticker thingy beside the window)
-> Replace both front door stopper-thingys (they keep noise when opening/closing the doors)
-> Install a remote control system for central-locking
-> Get boot lid repainted (has few odd "stone"-hits )
-> Get bonnet repainted (has many stone hits this is in the distant future)
-> Replace some suspenssion related parts (gone bad)
-> Install new shocks and springs (next summer)
-> Try to seal a small windshield leak (only leaks when washing the car and using hight preasure water)

Re: Your Alfa Project(s)

Hi there this is my first post I am new to the Alfa Ownership thing! Even though I was warned against getting one I went ahead and so far so good, no actually excellent.
Just changed timing belt so the main concern is over but still I need to

1. fix my idling its all over the place - I have cleaned the butterfly valve and throttle house but still got the problem
2. change the thermostat -she's running at about 60 degrees

will send her to my mechanic next week and hopefully sort hese things out.

Re: Your Alfa Project(s)

here you go:

3.0 intake runners
Eibach anti-roll kit
stiffer springs (if i can find some that dont lower the car?)
BDA Air Filter
De-Cat pipe (got it / just need to fit it)
Various small touch-ups on the body work.

I'm guessing the thick end of 2 grand should cover it!
Hoping to have it all done for the summer and my first Alfa shows.
