60,000 mile service schedule for 156 2.0TS

Would anyone be able to furnish me with a list of things that need doing at the 60,000 mile service? Obviously oil and oil filter, and I think the plugs need changing now? Howabout air filter, coolant, gearbox oil, pollen filter, brake fluid?

I believe its the same for all twin-spark engines...

Also you can look at the Autodelta website under servicing - details are shown there.

Hope this helps (from Alfa service booklet).

Check Tyres Pressure etc.
Check front brake pads for wear and operation of wear indicator
Check condition and tightness of brake and fuid lines, power steering, joint caps and drive shaft boots
Check condition of paintwork, underbody protection, all pipes and lines
(exhaust - fuel - brakes) and all rubber components (hoses - boots - bushes)
Check handbrake lever travel, adjust if necessary
Replace fuel filter (JTD versions)
Replace air cleaner element (JTD versions only)
Check fluid levels and top up if necessary - brake and clutch, power steering, engine coolant, battery, screen washer, etc
Replace spark plugs (excluding 1.6 -103cv)
Replace engine oil and filter
Renew pollen filter - charge extra (if fitted)
Check hood operation and condition of all seals
Check hood pump oil level - top up if necessary
Reset next service counter (if fitted)
Road test (including checking lights, wipers, washers, locks and instruments)

(Air filter is not replaced until 72,000 miles)

And, in case it hasn't been done before, replacement of cambelt and tensioners.

Thanks guys, I already bought the plugs cheaply so the rest of the service will be pretty straightforward. I did the belts and tensioners at 36,000 so no probs there until 72,000.

Changing the brake/clutch fluid is a good idea if it hasn't been done for two years.

Re: 60,000 mile service schedule for 156 2.0TS

Had the 60,000 service done at my local specialist before Xmas, having already done the plugs, pollen filter and brake pads/disks myself. Service cost around £150. Belts etc had been done the previous year.
