Changing all locks!

Hi all!

The previous owner of my 156 decided to instal door poppers and shaved handles...... kind of a cool novalty item i guess, but in reality a right pain in the ***..... after replacing the door solenoids, updated the wiring, buttons and door springs, I really dont wont the continual maintenance anymore, plus (this has happened before) battery running flat with doors locked and having to scramble through the boot to pop the bonnet then disconnect the battery, whilst drawing in quite a crowd in my local tescos carpark........

soooo i need to get 2 replacement doors, new door lock barrels, new boot lock, new ignition barrel and new ecu?

I think its the ECU? or is there an electronic receiver device within the car which carrys the code to match with the keyfob?

Alturnatively is it possible to re-programme the existing reciever using AD or MES?

If someone could give some advise that would be great.

Cheers guys, hope you all enjoy your bank holiday weekends!
