I lowered my car with H&R Springs (-35mm). You need to change the springs only and than have the wheel geometry/tracking checked. It is good idea to have your lights checked in the 0 position. The beam will change with lower car. I paied 200Eur for the springs and 120Euro for all this work in Alfa garage.
BTW: According to EU regulations, lowered Alfa 147 becomes illegal on EU roads because the front turn indicators get too low. They should be at least 35 cm over the road. You cant pass a MOT in Germany without additional turn indicators placed usualy under light washers. But I havent heared about any problems in other EU countries. Nobody is checking this. :-)
