Wiper switch arm + question about cruise control
By board computer "SET" button stopped working yesterday. Not exactly stopped, but it doesnít return to its normal position. Like if the spring that returns it was broken. It got stuck inside the wiper arm. I can switch board computer menu by gentle touching the button, but sometimes it works, sometimes not. I looked into ePER for replacement and it looks like it canít be ordered separately, only both arms and some switch unit with electronics. It costs 140 EUR. I donít want to pay 140 EUR + work because of cracked button :-( Do you have any idea if the arm can be replaced separately? Or if it can be taken apart and repaired? Any ideas?
If there is no other chance and I have to buy the complete switch unit :-( would it be possible to fit cruise control? Can this be done in a car that doesnít have it in equipment? As the cruise control stick is only 50 EUR and clutch sensor 20 EUR. It would be worth to do at the same time. What do I need more? Are all the necessary cables in place? Does cruise control have some separate hidden ECU?
