Is anyone bored enough...

... to write me a quick description of how to locate/change the relay for the indicators on a 2005 156 GTA? And the spec of the relay I need? It would be much appreciated...

They stopped working for a bit, worked again, and have now died. For something so small I'd rather just get the bit from Halfrauds and change it myself, particularly as I intend to keep it beyond warranty and thus learning to deal with any such foibles would be a plan!

Re: Is anyone bored enough...

Don't know for sure but I think it's under the steering column housing .... where the lighting/indicator switches are housed. No idea on the spec ... and would think it very lucky if Halfrods have one!!

Good luck and have a good indicator-working Christmas hopefully.

Sme realys live behind the glove box. There is a little hatch, which I have found of no use at all - but if you unscrew the glove box you can access it.

Re: Is anyone bored enough...

I've done it before. Its cold out so this is from memory:-
  • Undo the steering wheel adjuster
  • Pull the steering wheel out as far as it will go and push it down.
  • remove the couple of screw from underneath the steering column
  • The plastic cover around the steering column should now split in two horizontally. It splits across the holes for the stalks
  • With a bit of careful wiggling, you can remove the bottom half.
  • Underneath the column you should be able to see the relay.

Hope this helps
