156 V6

help with a v6

Hello all I recently bought a 156 v6 but needs a couple of bits done before its back on the road. Its due a timing belt so while I'm in there I'm gonna give it a service. Could anyone recommend what oil and spark plugs is best suited and how do you get the air box out lol. Also has anyone used the timing belt kit from autolusso as the price is good but I don't want to fit it and it breaking a month later.

Have no fear regarding the Autolusso kit, it will be superb, they're a very well respected specialist and what they don't know about Alfa's isn't worth knowing.

Worth changing the water pump for the metal impeller type while you're in there too. As well as all the idlers, if they aren't in the kit get them as no point in one failing later, peace of mind.
