No - tell you what - ill do exactly the same as you, ie mouth off regardless!
You are clutching at straws in an attempt to be funny in a way which is only amusing to a chav!
Sorry - you live in luton so I assumed the worst.....
My claim on the RWD discussion is that Alfa, more to the point Fiat, went the wrong way in their decision to design/develop/build FWD shassis on behalf of Alfa. Fiat's decision to build Alfa's like their cheap cars for the masses is what I have an issue with and why I honsetly believe the Alfa marque has suffered. Alfa is supposed to be a sports/performance marque, Im utterly convinced that with a RWD drivetrain the Alfa chassis would rival and exceed BMW at the segment they claim as their own, not even going into the fact the car would be soo much more fun to drive.
You obviously dont know too much about the 'marque' then do you. Alfa was rescued from almost certain extinction by Fiat, and if it were not for the FWD cars there wouldnt even be an alfa romeo now for you to pootle around in...
On the matter of transforming a FWD designed chassis into a RWD (as your sad attempt at sarcasm suggest) it sounds like the type of advice I'm likely to get from you judging by your previous sparks of genius!
Still waiting for the technical details on how a 155 could be transformed into a fantastic handling RWD car. The might of the fiat empire could maybe hire you on a consultancy basis?
Like I said, bragging rights.
Bragging? why would I do that here? Im amongst fellow GTA and GT owners in this - the GTA/GT lounge....
I like lancia, and fair play to owning one, but through a friend's expiriences with one I know its a one way piggy bank even more so than an Alfa.
Ive spent a lot on the lancia no doubt over the 9 years ive had her, but ive never found an alfa to be a money pit. Regular servicing and decent oil and theyre fine cars.
I think you ought to spark up another round on the pipe and get the ol' dorriss to make you cup of tea to warm your brittle ol' cockles, as you will have to do alot better if you wish for me to leave.
I dont want you to leave - I like having a donkey to kick
I have given my honest opinion and what I believe to be constructive critisism on this thread, only to be confronted by some ol' fart with rather chavvish attempts at humour, because I dont agree that the GT is the best thing since sliced bread.
You really are clueless arent you. Im neither old nor a chav. Unless you really think a 147 GTA is a chav car? If youd have read any of this thread youd realise I dont think the GT is the be all and end all either......
Just because I own an older Alfa doesnt make me any lesser AO than you, so remember that the next time you ask me to find the door!
I dont think the car you own has anything to do with anything - I dont liek your 'superior' attitude, and I dont like the fact that you come here to the GTA/GT forum and try to tell us all 'how it is', with all your pointless purile rubbish about how alfas would be better as RWD....
DEAL WITH IT! At a risk of this getting out of hand for other members I will leave this alone now as I have said my peace
Have you closed the door?
