Brake pads and discs

My 156 has just had its mot and the discs are worn but still legal i want to upgrade them anyone now what would be a good replacement

Depends on your budget.

MTec discs can be has as grooved, drilled or dimpled and grooved with an optional black, silver or gold phosphate coating to keep rust at bay.

The drilling, grooving makes no difference to brake power unless you are hammering it.

Better pads are the way forward if its all in bits. EBC Yellow, Feredo DS performance of DS 2500 are recommended as are Performance Friction pads. They get expensive though.
