Re: Airfilter replacement
2 year change interval on an airfilter........... Sounds as bad as the 20k oil change idea....
In previous vehicles I could notice the fuel consumption increase at about 7500km from filter replacement. (previous vehicles I have owned also had the airfilter in a nice easy accessable location where it took 5 seconds to remove)
Where I live is rather dusty and has a high pollen percentage in the air, so the filter will get clogged up rather quickly.
I have been informed by the dealer that the use of a K&N Filter may void the warranty.... What a load of S$%*. Unless they can prove that the air is less filtered, ot that excess oil will clog up the MAF, then I would like to see that they're argument stand up in court.
