GT **** Light Failure

I'm getting a light failure (left sidelight / number plate light) failure warning each time I start the car when it is both cold & damp... I'm guessing the sensors measuring resistance on the circuits are too sensitive, or else I have poor seals allowing moisture onto bulb contacts?

When starting the car in dry or warmer weather the warning goes away.

Has anybody else experienced this? If so, whats the remedy?

Same Happened to me a few weeks ago, although only number plate light failure. Throttleman advised 'Just kick the bumper', it worked once then went again! Stealers had to sort for me.

Same thing happened to me - front left sidelight failure. Dealer took two goes at fixing it and managed at the second attempt. It was apparently a loose element in the bulb or something.
