I’ve taken my “bella” to Bosch Service…and according to them, MAF its OK!!!
With MAF OK, Cam timing and Phase Variator OK, according to FIAT/ALFA mechanics…Sparkplugs are almost new…Clutch has +-6 months…and no errors on Examiner and other machines!!!
That’s all very strange, because when I had my Alfa almost stock only BMC CDA filter installed I already had these values:
Wheel output: +- 93hp
Engine output: +- 124hp (I think its a bit too much for a stock engine...but could be this Dyno machine!)
Drag output: +-31hp
Norm power: +- 129hp (I think it’s a bit too much for a stock engine...but could be this Dyno machine!)
Torque: +- 146nm (This was OK, exactly the announced by manufacture!)
Another test, now with almost every mods and new MAF installed (lower values when MAF was damage), new clutch, lighter flywheel, remap, etc…:
Wheel output: +- 94hp
Engine output: +- 112 – 113hp
Drag output: +-19hp (less drag power because I have now smaller tyre 215/40-17’’ and lighter flywheel!)
Norm power: +- 114-115hp (I could win more +- 5hp over this value with a new remap…but its useless because I still have less than stock power…and all other 147 with same mods I have…had more than 130hp!!!!)
Torque: +- 133nm !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (This is what I really don’t understand...why torque is so low!!!!)
I’ve changed already the original NGK Platinium sparkplugs (one has broken) for new NGK Iridium with same temperature value…same power on dyno, no big difference!
What I feel on the road it’s same as on the dynotest…I feel power a low revs…but no power at high revs!!!
Another thing I’m going to check tomorrow are the spark plugs cables…maybe one its not passing sufficient power…I really don’t know!!!!!!!!!!!!
Does someone have more ideas!?
