There is a body of opinion that says its worth changing the variator and the water pump during this job, as they are both "cambelt off" jobs to do. Variator is fairly expensive (£80+), water pump £30-ish.
Cam sensor and phase sensor are the same thing *, and do generally require the water pump to be partially removed to free the wire, so that may sway your decision re changing the pump.
* - unless by phase sensor you mean the crank sensor, mounted near the starter....but that isn't linked with doing a belt job, anyway.......
You are changing the belt tensioners when you do the job, aren't you? And you do have the correct camlock tools?
