Hi barrell80 welcome to AO, I hope despite your problems you enjoy your new Alfa.
My (02 - 52) 147 has had the suspension bushes replaced under warranty, this is fairly normal as it's possible your's have not been done.
The rattle on start-up is due to the variator (which varies the cam shaft timing with engine speed). A limited amount of rattle is OK - just until the full oil pressure reaches the unit on the top of the engine. Anything more and the variator probably needs to be replaced. You should also make sure the engine is topped up to the full mark as they tend to use oil during use (again quite normal).
Both should be covered by your warranty if you bought the car from a dealer.
The squeal on reversing - I don't know where does it seem to come from?
You also should be aware that the cam belt should be changed at 36,000 miles or three years - not 72,000 miles as in the manual / service record. Belts can fail at 45,000 miles onward with expensive engine damage. Do you have any service history? Also did you buy it from someone who knows about Alfas, either a dealer or a specialist Alfa garage?
You might also want to introduce your self - in the separate part of the forum and post a few pics of your new Alfa.
