replacing battery: what to watch out?
I have just bought a new battery for my Alfa 156 2.0TS Selespeed. I would like to know if there is anything I need to watch out before replacing the battery? I've got my stereo security code, so no warries about that.
I've checked halfords and my local car store and both of them are not allowed to replace the batteries on Alfas 156. There must be a reason behind that.
After replacing the battery, will my keys work for alarm and immobiliser? or will they have to be recoded? Also, how long does it take to reset the ECU without the battery. I asume that i shouldn't do that, as it might mess up the car. Am I right to assume that?
Many thanks for your help
