What to do with a cracked Alloy?

Attached is Head of Garden's solution!

Is it possible / sensible / legal to get them welded?

Yes they can be welded - I was chatting to the manager of a local tyre centre - they have someone come in at least one a week to weld up BMW wheels, in the winter he is in more than once a week.

It is specialist welding - check with a local independent tyre centre they may have a "man who does" for them.

yes, they can be welded, but make sure you get someone that knows what they are doing, the prep work is the most impoartant part of the repair. I have also done a few repairs in past for friends.....
