Change revcounter and speedo to newer/GTA

On my 156 2.5 - 99, is it possible to install the GTA counters or newer JTS? I like those a bit better..the mouting and cables looks the same.

Anyone done it? Just switch counters or must ODO be programmed?

Don't think there will be a problem in fitting them, or them working - when rev-counters are replaced after the classic "bulb failure circuit meltdown", you can swap with no problem. The odometer mileage or kilometrage reading is stored in the speedometer, though, so if it bothers you, that would need to be electronically "adjusted".
