No problems if the engine's in normal health. A tip is to turn the ignition on, wait for the glow plug light to go out, turn off the ignition and then turn it on again and start the engine when the glow plug goes out for the second time. That makes for a smoother start. The good thing about cold weather is that the engine produces more power because the air is denser.
You won't have any problems with your JTDm Engine at all Prop, no matter what the weather, Its a brilliant Engine all round, but I do agree with the comment above in delaying the starting up of it slightly.......
Mine hated the cold on the first winter......... until I changed the battery but since then its been fine just make sure you have changed the fuel filter as I was looking power last year until I changed it I guess cold thicker fuel and old block filter don't mix!
little tip is go around and spray some silicone onto the door rubbers and clean them off you will find the water and hence the ice wont stick and you doors will open sweet
