Just got the 156 back from MOT, the first in my ownership so slightly
worrying as can be expected...
It passed with flying colours though, only picking up advisories for perished handbrake cable supports and front tyres which were on the list for replacement post MOT anyway.
The tester who done it commented that it was more solid underneath than my P2 GTV and the suspension was all in fine order with no obvious deterioration of any bushes...result!
Based on that I may as well keep it (been looking at v6's on eBay...) and spend some money:
New front tyres...something better than the obscure things on at present
Set of Ferodo DS2500 pads and maybe new discs...any recommendations for suppliers?
Complete fluid service...engine, box and brake fluid etc
A trip to Poole when its slightly cooler to get some more underseal applied
Oh, and the handbrake cable thingies when I work out exactly what they are
Glad I cleaned it now...usually when I do that it guarantees an expensive failure
