Indeed doing the cambelt on the TS engine is hardly rocket science and I think its one of the easier jobs.
People just make it out to be difficult becasue you need a few tools.
Nothing special about Alfa engines compared to any other engines.
Glad you got it all sorted. The tensioner can be a bit fiddly. But once you've done the cambelt a couple of times you can do it in about two hours in one go.
The time comes from monkeying about getting to the damn thing and taking the covers off.
