From the experience I had the engine is not tourqy enough to warrant a semi auto.
As mentioned earlier they take a bit of skill when parking on anything but a flat surface and pulling out on a hill is fun too.
Also agree its not that good as an auto either.
If it had a larger engine v6 ror example I think it would be a different thing altogether but was never really sure quite what the point was except at high rev gear change but found that you had to get that pretty spot on rev wise or it didn't want to change when you asked it to and that was a new demonstrator.
I can see some advantage in today's traffic but as said not as smooth as a proper auto.
Still you pays your money and takes your choice.
I would also recommend you test drive one then make your own mind up
