Well Happy Worrying Wobble! 2.4JTD 20v

Hi everyone

I have noticed a worrying wobble whilst pulling away in my Alfa.

When in 1st gear and I pull away from a standing start, there is a slight wobble until I get to approx 2000rpm, then the car drives fine.

I have checked tyre pressures and all seem OK, my thoughts could be a buckled wheel?, drive shafts?

I have a reciept to say that the cambelt and tensioner was changed at 103kmiles - she is now sitting on 112kmiles

does anyone have any ideas?

It sounds like it could be clutch judder. If so, it can be caused by a weak, or failed engine mounting, or the clutch itself being worn, distorted or contaminated. Does the wobble disappear once the clutch is fully engaged? If so, this is probably your problem.
