Alfa dealers are doing some good deals on wheel / tyre packages also.
I think that you are way off the mark there.
Usually aswell Genuine Alfa kit(as you call them) wheels are wheels that are made by a certain other alloy wheel companies for Alfa and then Alfa put on the Alfa badges and sell them on more expensive to the public.
You think that is ok?Because I dont.Alfa ripping off the public, and selling a rebranded product as their own and at a marked up price is a big
in my eyes.
Also if you pick the right size of alloy wheels(as in width matched to suit height) and tyres profile to suit, then the wheel can actually improve grip and cornering/handling.
My alloys actually give more acceleration than the standard Alfa alloys,Thats a fact.My wheels are 8.5 x 18 inch alloys and only weigh 8.1 kilos, thats alot lighter than the standard Alfa wheel.Gives more acceleration too jue to less weight and unsprung weight.
So I think your strongly worded statement above is pretty inaccurate.
Also did you ever think that alot of people who changed their alloys on their Alfas share your opinion, but over the Alfa range and style of wheels on their cars.
Alot of people dont like the Alfa wheels that much,so thats usually the first thing that gets changed on their cars.
Why pay alot more money because Alfa stuck a badge on a wheel, when you can pick up more or less the exact same style of wheel or a better looking wheel in an alloy wheel store or on a website for alot less money than what the Alfa Stealers will charge you.
