Hi,First of all to all the members who sent me a P.M asking me to come back-A big thank you from me to all of you.
2nd of all and this is mainley aimed at UKoldschool and Mr.Orange.My car is/has just put out 272bhp(231w.h.p) and 222.5 lb/ft torque at 0.85 bar of boost.Thats is only 12 psi boost.Also with a few niggles and glitches with the car and an intercooler that cannot do its job anymore as the intake temp was over 66 degrees C.,this is sapping lots of power and torque from my car,so now you all know why i am having that massive intercooler installed.The new massive intercooler will give an intake temp of around 30 degrees C and a big bhp/torque increase too.It has 280bhp in it without the glitches.I showed you all the pics of it.The car has/is good for 300bhp at 1 bar boost.
Ukoldschool,that graph of 232 lb/ft torque from my car that you dug up and tried to say that I would have less bhp than torque,as a turbo car makes less bhp than torque.
You are completely talking rubbish here.Alot of petrol turboed cars actually make the same bhp or more than they make torque.

Imagine then what bhp my car is putting out with 232 lb/ft torque,considering with only 222.5 torque it has 272 bhp at flywheel.Over 280bhp.We had 280bhp a few weeks back.I told you all this several times in the past,but Mr.Ukoldschool,(several times) said that he very much doubts me and that I am basicly talking and telling tall tales.I even told you about my prototype cluch and turbo yet you still persisted and nagged me over it and the turbo spec and car spec.
The only thing I have done here is be truthfull,shown all of you pics of the car being stripped and rebuilt and my problems and solutions aswell.
I must say sorry to you all,as I have miss-led you.I said that my turbo was a Greddy/Trust TO5D hybrid 22G.That was wrong.I got it mixed up and didnt listen to my mechanic properly.It is a Greddy/Trust TDO5 hybrid 22G.
Its a One Off/Custom turbo built specially for my engine.Ukoldschool you were right about me saying the wrong make of turbo,I appologise for this,I got mixed up,but you are completely wrong about not being able to make a hybrid one up with 20 and 22G internals.Anything is possible if you have the time,money and machinery and knowladge/determination to do it.
Anyway I will leave it at that,UKoldschool and Mr.Orange - in future please do not try to disscredit me or mock me or say that Im a liar or make me out to be a liar,because I am not a liar.Also please respect what I post and type and dont wreck my threads.Also do not try and start up new threads with the purpose of trying to mock me and degrade myself,my mechanic or my car.Thankyou.
P.S - Ukoldschool,my mechanic laughed big time when he read that you have only 280bhp at 1.45bar boost with a T3 turbo.He has tuned some Lancia Intergrales and builds massive power Skyline engines and Evos(some of these are over 700+bhp)here in Ireland and said that your car is not up to the power that it could and should be with that spec turbo and boost.You should be making well well over 300bhp at about 1.3 -1.4 bar with that spec of turbo.
Also seen as I have put up a dynograph,which you asked me to do (You did say that you doubted me and said that there is no way a turbo car can/will have more bhp than torque,which by the way is completely
),why dont you put up a dynograph of your car and we can compare the graphs.I think other members would also like to see your dynographs too.
Just think my wee little 1.6 litre 147 has around the same bhp at 0.85 bar (12psi boost) than your 2 litre Lancia Intergrale does at 1.45 bar(22psi approx.)Just a comparison though on my part.
Also you said that if you wanted to run less boost then you would get a smaller turbo.
If you do that then you "WILL" have to run more boost to even get near 280bhp.You run a slightly bigger turbo to run less boost but you might/probably will get a slight bit more lag,which can be gotten rid of with a bit of carefull and clever mapping of a piggyback ECU or stand alone engine management and altered fueling/boost settings.
Thats a fact.I am looking forward to seeing your dynographs.
It costs 60 euro every time to have my car tested and then 350 - 400 euro every time the car is live mapped on the Dynapacks.Im a hardcore tuner/modifying enthusiast and I dont mess about when it comes to tuning parts and specs on my car.I think the pics of my engine and car overall prove that much to all of you here.
Anybody who wants to doubt me and my 1.6 litre then Ok fair enough, but I know(some members here in Ireland know first hand and my mechanic knows first hand) what this car has done and can do in the future.I will post more pics when the intercooler is installed later this week.I cant wait for it and when the car is mapped and dynoed again.Thanks.
