For those who have been following my car buying saga!
Finally got back from Manchester on Wednesday and went to Motorpoint to see the progress with my prospective alfa 147.
They had managed to remove all the dings and buff/polish out most of the scratches (to be fair there weren't many) and she was looking good!
Got into the car and started the engine - this was not possible the first time as the battery was flat. The engine purred into life but the following warning message appeared.
'Motor management failure' - anybody have an idea what this means? - was it due to the battery being flat?
Upshot is Motorpoint have booked it into an alfa dealer for a checkup - you've got to laugh; I hope this isn't an omen for later probs.
More updates to follow (getting to feel like Eastenders)
