Diesel Engine Coolant Temperature!

I know this has been mentioned time and time again, but now that the milder weather is here are all you diesel alfas seeing 90 deg (mid point) on your coolant guages?

Mine still sits just below, rarely above 70.

Yes 90 in town, and just about 70 on the motorway, and yes I have brand new thermostat, and yes it works, as the readings on the ECU are approx 82 - 85c when the needle on the gauge is at 70c.

i wouldnt worry about it - gauges arent great for reading correctly - mines always been less than 90 unless in traffic

My 2007 147 JTDm on its original thermostat always gets to 90 (on the dash) and stays there - motorway, traffic jam, it doesn't seem to matter.
