Throttle issue - some advice...?

Hello Alfa lovers

I am thinking of buying an alfa 156, 2004 jtd and in the description it states....

"when going over bumps its squeaks a little from one side and throttle cuts on occasion (if i lift foot and return the power comes back and dosent happen on cruise control so guess a throttle pedal issue"

The squeaking is obviously the wishbones, but I am concerned about the throttle - does anyone have any ideas? or had this issue before?

Actually cuts out or just loses power? If it loses power it could be the MAF or EGR possibly, or turbo sensor. Not massively expensive but depends on how much the car is up for sale for.

Correct, squeaking is the legendary wishbones I imagine. They will all do that at some point..

Good luck & hope you get the Alfa you're looking for!

Unless its very cheap I'd walk away - there are lots out there for not much money that don't have random faults!
