I've just converted mine from amber to clear and they look a lot better on the Rosso red. They are not the "Crystal" type that you often see on ebay and the like. IMHO these match the standard rear lights more, whereas the crystal ones would got with "lexus" lights. I'd only put smoked on if again the rears were smoked but I'm not sure they would go with the red bodywork. I've only got the amber bulbs at the mo but plan to convert them to the silver-type at some stage.

There are pictures of the car on my website before the change and a close up of the clear repeaters fitted.
