cam belt snapped
My cam belt snapped two days ago on my way back home from work. Had the car towed to my mechanic.
Apparently some valves got bent in the process, and my manifold might be shot too. Anyway, while dismantling the upper part of the engine, he noticed that the injectors are yellow instead of orange. The yellow ones don't perform as good as the orange ones, he said. Good thing is, he offered to replace them at no cost, considering I'm already in deep with my current repair list.
What I'd like to know is, is he pulling my strings with the injectors issue? He claimed that the yellow injectors shoot directly while the orange ones spray the fuel. Is this accurate?
