Front ABS Sensor Removal
Hi all, you may have read recently in a front bearing thread one of my ABS sensors was damaged.....it happens.
Well, the replacement is here from Wanapart via Amazon, not a bad price £65 delivered, well over £100 from a dealer. Not too sure about the make... Fuelparts, fingers crossed.
I can confirm the resistance you should get at the connector is 6.3MΩ or 4.1MΩ depending on polarity, my duff sensor is open circuit.
Are there any tips for removing the old sensor without taking it all to bits again, bearing in mind I can sacrifice the old sensor getting it out. I understand (once the old one is out) the mounting hole has to be as clean as possible.
I'd rather not have to take the upright off again, but will if there's no alternative.
All the best
