I have had the Eibach ARB's and Meyle drop links on for a few weeks now, and I would have to agree it feels rather ...well- good!
I don't like saying that categorically these changes have made ALL the difference, as there is the cars natural ability, tyres, the fact that everything was F=@#ed before I fitted them... what I will say is - these additions are built to last - unlike the oem parts, so I take great comfort in knowing this great handling car feels ... Seriously!- is it supposed to be so hard to under steer! I'm starting to miss it!, even in the wet tonight I just threw it into a few round abouts TRYING to find a limit to the grip and failing... every time there is just the perfect amount of oversteer guiding me round - like the damn thing just knows where I want to be before I do. Its actually starting to **** me off knowing the car is more capable than I am.
I would say whether you buy after market parts or not - the first step to happiness was buying a 156 in the first place.
BTW the other problem I was having with a miss fire, was the connection to the injector, the mechanic who fitted the gearbox must have knocked it somehow, after swapping the wires around the misfire disappeared and now she runs perfect! god knows I've spent enough!
