Hi, ive got my 2005 alfa 156 jtd mjet 16v 150bhp for more than a year and so far it was ok. Didnt have too many expensive problems, but now im wondering if my dual mass flywheel and clutch is gone.
Maybe You know any reliable person to help me diagnose/ repair my alfa as close as possible to lincon? Ln5 ?
As all parts for my model cost nearly twice more than expected and local garages like Shakespeare street garage advertised on local radio does work that is questionable? (Went to MWT aswell and not impressed with them
) I dont even know if its worth consulting them or any other local garages except going to autolusso that is too far away?
I definatelly need advice, but working alot and holiday is nearly here. Travelling to autolusso is impossible as I cant get a day off
and cant risk traveling this sunday to
The airport and breaking it :/ that would be the worst imaginable thing to happen.
I checked forum a while ago (before servicing and changing vaacum hoses that had holes ) then i thought the dual mass flywheel was on its way - but after servicing I used more accelerator so vibration didnt feel that mutch. This way I drove for a few months and now I believe I have slipping clutch so it all ads up - flywheel and clutch replacement ? (Parts only from ebay around 500-550 quid ) so I really need experienced persons or garage closer to lincoln advice :/ I have lead and ecu scan ( earlier had p0238 but now it looks sorted after changing vaacum hoses - no errors and mot no advisory notes). Its really not worth for me to go to garage where they havent got a clue about alfas - already had bad experience so i don't want to waste more money. Please help me find a reliable person to do the job as close as possible to lincoln, lincolnshire.
