Thumbs Up Actuator Transplant

The selespeed actuator was replaced with a brand new unit yesterday at no cost to me. A big thank you to Ateco Australia and Barbagallo (distributor and dealer). In Australia we get a 3 year/100,000km warranty whichever comes first. My 147 is 2.5 years old with 113,000km on the clock. So just out of warranty. Gear changes now are noticealby better....a little faster. Sorry if this seems like a plug but when ppl help save you Au$3000, they've got to crack a mention

Re: Actuator Transplant

I have found that dealer service has definitely improved in the past couple of years in Australia. Hopefully it will continue to improve.

I guess you have already had the cambelt changed and are almost due for another

Do you still have original Variator in car?
