Cambelt/Water pump question
I've just bought a GT 1.9 Cloverleaf from Capozzoli garage in Ilchester. Part of the deal was that they would change the cambelt and water pump for trade price - I paid them £250. The car is a 2008 with 33000 miles. When I picked up the car I asked for an invoice for the work which they promised they would send me. Despite 2 subsequent reminders, they have failed to provide the invoice. The only proof I have that they have done the work is a signed note in the service book and the cambelt diagram thingy stuck to the engine cover. I am now suspicious that they didn't change the cambelt and pump. Is it easy to check by examination if the belt and pump are new?
Thanks for any advice.
