Its seems KW are a very good suspension manufacturer.
I seen the Alfa Romeo 156's in the wtcc using KW suspension
What setting did you say your Coilovers where set to?
I have the standerd 16" wheels on mine and im wondering what will be a good height.Although of course it will probly take me a while fine tuning untill i get the optimal setting.
How easy are they to adjust?...
I have Variant 3s(independently adjustable height, damping and rebound)so my suspension setup will be completely different to your Variant 1s.
The Variant 1s are fixed damping rate, only height adjustable as far as I know.Im also run with bigger anti roll bars, modified drop links 8.5 x 18 inch alloys toed in by 1 degree. My car is lowered 55mm front and 45mm rear, but you will have to find the right ride height to suit your car and the wheels on it.
It will be a case of trial and error with the ride height on your car.Thats how I found the perfect setup for my car.Lots of trial and error and testing the car on rough roads at different damping, rebound and ride height settings untill we found the optimum settings to suit the car.
The KWs on the 156 WTCC cars are custom made for Alfa Romeo with different spring rates to suit each car and the different track conditions. They also provide BMW and others with custom Race Spec Coilovers and springs for the cars and tracks.
Best of luck with seting them up on your car. They are very easy to adjust, you dont even to take off the wheel to adjust them, thats a great thing.
