Cheers guys. Its not a problem really, I don't get that much that I can see it in the mirror, it's literally just the (well what i would consider) normal amount. BUT i just wondered if there was maybe a trick or something that could be done to reduce it further (ideally so there none but i know thats not possible). Im really just being picky!
For example; following another diesel car (any make), you know when they put their foot down (or when they're in the wrong gear!) because of the smoke and i just wondered if there was a way to reduce this?
Maybe EGR removal might help? I've been needing to get this done for sometime tbh, i have the classic motor control error which is definitely EGR valve. I've cleaned it several times, and took it to Peak Alfa and they're convinced its the EGR valve causing the error. He's even reset ECU and its fine until you put foot down and then "boop" management light is back! Doesn't actually cause any problem when driving though (or at least i don't think it does i.e. no lack o power or anything). Anyway, story over!
Any tricks or is EGR removal and blanker plate the way forward?
t3yls - have you noticed any improvements since having your EGR valve removed?
AND finally (sorry for the lengthy multi-topic thread); I assume i'll need to get a remap if i do decide to get it removed?
