3.2 V6 cars are dropping in value but it is depending in condition. Some older cars have crossed the 100k barrier which wipes a chunk of value off them. The well cared for ones are holding steady at 6 grandish. The in need of work ones are in the 3-4 grand territory. Heavily and well modified ones are in the 7 grand-9 grand territory. But for sale a good while.
Many are blighted by poor or patchy service records as many owners will have seen the V5 now. Many will need at best some minor rust work, some need in depth bodywork. The days of 2 - 3 years back where they changed hands at 6-8 grand and were on the market a few weeks have gone. Rising petrol prices and the arrival to market of much faster and cheaper cars has dented the new buyers market. For 6k you could get a good, late model Impreza WRX, Lancer Evo, Megane Trophy, Focus ST 225, Vaux VXR etc. most would be more useable and less delicate while being cheaper to fuel, tax etc.
However, for a good, clean, historied car, you can still get your money out at a reasonable return and summer is the time to sell GT and GTA 3.2 window down, high grip etc.
