i own an alfa romeo 156 2.0 t spark.
when i drive and im about to change from 1st to 2nd i get what can only be described as metal bars slapping together from the left hand side.
now i know its not a gearbox issue because its not when im engaging/disengaging clutch or have anything to do with a gear change. i also know that it does it going straight as well as turning so not cvs. no vibration just noise. it doesnot happen at any other speed and revs.
not timing belt slap for 2 reasons. new timing belt and wrong side of car.
had a look under and didnt see anything a miss.
